Starship Troopers 4K Blu-ray Release Dates Announced

Original Release

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the 4K Blu-ray release of Starship Troopers will be released on November 1, 2022, to coincide with the film's 25th anniversary. The 4K Blu-ray will include a new 4K scan of the original negative, as well as a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

Limited Edition Release

In addition to the standard 4K Blu-ray release, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will also release a limited edition 25th Anniversary Edition of the film on September 26, 2023. The limited edition will include the same 4K Blu-ray disc as the standard release, as well as a Blu-ray disc with bonus features, a collectible booklet, and a set of trading cards.

The bonus features on the 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray disc will include:

• Audio commentary with director Paul Verhoeven and writer Edward Neumeier
• Behind-the-scenes featurette
• Deleted scenes
• Bloopers
